Christmas Cookie Recipe Round-up!

I must have been really hungry when I went to bed last night because I dreamed up this idea that I know you're going to love. After the 1st Annual Softie Thanksgiving Parade is over, the prizes have been awarded and the street cleaners have come and cleaned up all the debris, I am going to sponsor a Christmas Cookie Recipe Round-up right here on my Blog. How's it going to work? Gather 'round Pardners and I'll tell you...

First you can E-mail me at hey_lisa@qdpatooties.com (or comment on this post and I'll get in touch with you) and let me know you want to join in. Download the little avatar you see above by right clicking on it and then saving it to your hard drive. Post it on your Blog to let everyone know you're going to be participating in the Recipe Round-up.

Next you'll have to come up with one of your favorite recipes, maybe one that's a family tradition for you or maybe one that you just make at the holidays for fear you'll eat the whole batch!

Finally on December 7th, you'll post your recipe and then a link to the next person's Blog who is participating. I'll give you their link information when you sign up so it will be like a web ring of sorts that will start on this Blog but go from Blog to Blog with recipe after recipe after recipe. Hungry yet? I know I am! Anyway, I thought that this would not only be a great way for people to pick up some new favorite Christmas Cookies to bake for the holidays but also a great way for people to see your work and all those new bears, Softies or other great items that you make. Maybe someone will even purchase a special Christmas gift while they are browsing the recipes - who knows! So join in and fill your Christmas tin to the brim!

Oh, and I forgot to mention to add to the fun the first person who collects all the recipes and sends me an E-mail with names of those recipes will get a prize from me. Just title the E-mail "Filled My Tin" so I will know what it's all about!
