Yes, we're back again folks for our third and final day of the 1st Annual Softie's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Today we'll be taking a little trip right down Santa Claus Lane. It's the end of our parade and like many other traditional Thanksgiving Day parades we always save the most exciting part for last. So if there are any boys and girls in the audience with special requests for Santa (and if you've been good - that's important to him you know) make them now!
(1) Once again for the last day of our Parade we have our trusty news commentator Spiffy Spuffpot from Softie Entertainment News Web.
(24) Nanova isn't really a Santa but he hangs out about in the same place - the North Pole. This stunning Polar Bear was created by Karen Lyons of KJ Lyons Design.
(25) Next we have one of two Needle Felted Santas created by Lisa Schofield of Lulu's Stabby Critters.
(26) This adorable vintage style Santa Bear was created by Nina (Millie) Potter of Potterhouse Bears. I'm sure this Santa will make all the kids in the crowd take notice with his sled full of toys.
(27) You may remember the adorable Yorkie puppy named Abigail by Krista Griffiths of K Pawz Creations romping in the fall leaves on 5th Avenue. Well she also created this stunning Tiger Santa Cub named Hemingway that was completely hand striped with a special permanent marker.(28) The other fabulous Needle Felted Santa that was submitted by Lisa Schofield of Lulu's Stabby Critters. This one is an ornament but that made it's debut earlier on Santa Claus Lane was a table top version.
(29) Ah, the endearing charm of the Sock Monkey. They are such a recognizable icon (probably as much as Santa and Mr. Potato Head). This one named "Chuckles the Elf" is ready to assist Santa on his ride down Santa Claus Lane and ws created by Chrissi Catherwood of CatherWoods Bears.
(30) Uh oh. This naughty spectator kitten is planning to throw a Snowball at the Santas. If he does, I don't think he'll be making the "Nice" list. No catnip in his stocking - JUST COAL! This adorable slightly naughty kitten was made by Karen Lyons of KJ Lyons Designs.
(32) The last Santa to make his way down Santa Claus Lane is this stunning Santa Bear complete with a sleigh full of toys for all good girls and boys! Laura Lynn Matthews of Teddies by Laura Lynn created this darling piece just for the Parade. What a cutie! This brings us to the end of our 1st Annual Softie Thanksgiving Day Parade. I hope you enjoyed all the creations and will come back tomorrow when the link will be up to vote for your favorites. Voting will continue until noon (Eastern Standard Time) on November 30th. Then, the results with the Top 5 entries receiving votes will be revealed here on December 1st.
