Here's the winners as you picked them each receiving the top number of votes in their category. I'm only listing the top entry in each category and not the top three because some categories only had a handful in them and I feel it may be hurtful to do so. I hope you all understand my reasoning on this issue.
Anyway, thank you so much to everyone who participated. This Parade was a lot more work than the my Thanksgiving Day Parade only because it had grown by leaps and bounds! There were so many entries to go through and I had so many favorites myself that it really must have been a tough decision for all of our "spectators." I will be contacting the winners throughout the day and each will get a gift card to Amazon.com to purchase their favorite Softie book. Hopefully, next year if I have more money or some really kickin' sponsors or something, I will be able to do the Top 3 in each category. So please if your entry was not in the top spot this time don't fret. There's always the 2nd Annual Softies Thanksgiving Day Parade and preparations for that will start in September.

Lisa--you rock! I can't imagine how much work you put into this. Bot asks me to humbly thank everyone who voted for her. It's an amazing honour to win because all the entries were so amazingly good. I think everyone entered a winning softie.

I was really shocked to see Hopalong won in the hot chicks catagory. There were so many great entries.

Yes, Lisa all the entries were wonderful!!!! It was hard to just pick one...my congratulations go out the winners. :) May the Thanksgiving Parade be as fantastic as the Easter Parade.

Congratulations to the winners...and thx to you Lisa...what a ton of work for you to go through for this. It was fun to see all the entries and cheer and clap as the parade passed by. The great thing is...no horse or elephant pucky to clean up after they all disappeared!
Kudo's to all the winners and to you too Lisa ..for all of your hard work.. that parade was amazing!!! I enjoyed it so!
